Description:

On occasion I am drawn to painting beautiful wildlife usually because of their colors or colorful personality. The Blue Jay fits that description on both counts. One of the most flamboyant of North American birds, they can be quite noisy and aggressive at times which serves to unnerve many predators.  I enjoy the antics of these jazzy birds quite often here in my hometown.
