This minimalist ocean abstract is my toast to the great Jimmy Buffett, titled “Margaritaville” (36×36). Jimmy always had us thinking about finding a beach, kickin’ back with friends and let our cares melt away. I know it’s hard these days but Jimmy…we’ll keep trying. “Bubbles Up” a phrase Jimmy learned in survival training became his life metaphor. When a boat or plane capsized he was trained to follow the bubbles back up to the surface where he could breathe freely again. Bubbles up my friends!
