I woke up on the 20th anniversary of 9-11 with NYC on my heart and my thoughts collided with Elton John’s upbeat song “I’m Still Standing”. I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I went to the canvas with this abstract and went to town (literally). The twin Towers are represented here with Lady Liberty, the indisputable symbol of American liberty, strength and resolve. She’s still standing strong and so must we.
